04/23/2014 - Score Calculation & Military Change
Hi guys, kind of an important update today. I'd really recommend that you read the whole forum post here: http://politicsandwar.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1614-4232014-scoring-and-military-update/

Seriously, give that a read. I'll give a brief summary here:
* I changed the score formula in a way that more accurate represents nation growth and military strength. You most likely saw a drop in score, but that's normal for everyone.
* Barracks now can hold 3,000 soldiers instead of 2,000. Factories now hold 250 tanks instead of 400.
* Casualties have been reduced in battles slightly.
* Upkeep costs have been increased for most units.

Again definitely give the forum post a read, it's got a lot more information. Thanks!

04/17/2014 - New Color & Some Changes
Hey guys! Pretty big update here actually, introducing a whole new color and some changes to trade and war. Please give the forum post a read, anything I put here won't be nearly as good as what I've written there:

Enjoy the update guys!

04/15/2014 - Season Indicators, Rules & Terms, Video
I added season indicators and fixed that the seasonal effect on food production wasn't being shown on the revenue page.
The game has an updated Terms and Conditions and Game Rules now, with links to them in the bottom right hand corner. There's clarification on the multiple nations per network rule, as well as declaring that war slot filling is not allowed.
Lastly, I'm working on a series of tutorial videos to help new players understand the game. This first one is a very, very basic introduction and also a walkthrough getting your nation registered. It talks about what your first steps should be once you've signed up (how to buy infrastructure, land, and improvements) as well as how to use the market to buy and sell resources. It even includes a bit about joining alliances and how to do so at the end. If you're a new nation you might want to take a peek (or maybe even just listen to me talk in the background).

See the forum post: http://politicsandwar.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1502-4152014-season-indicators-rules-terms-tutorial-videos/ and the link to the first video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IUav9ohqk3A

04/13/2014 - Soldier Change (Again) & Policies
Forum post here: http://politicsandwar.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1470-4132014-seasonal-food-production-soldier-proudction-increase-1-refineries/page-2#entry15338

Changed soldiers from 1/2 total per day to 1/3, I think this is probably the best compromise

I've added some basic policies that work like a political compass, you basically answer some questions and it determines where your nation sits socially and economically. Has no effect but it does show on your nation page, so it's just a fun cosmetic type thing.

04/13/2014 - Food, Refineries, and Soldiers
You can now have up to 3 of each type of manufacturing improvement per city

You can recruit 50% of soldier max per day, or 1,000 instead of 500

If you're in North America, Europe, or Asia you get a 20% boost to food production in June, July, and August (game date) and if you're in South America, Australia, or Africa during those months you lose 20% production, and the inverse is true for December, January, and February

Discuss and leave feedback on the forum post here: http://politicsandwar.com/forums/index.php?/topic/1470-4132014-seasonal-food-production-soldier-proudction-increase-1-refineries/
