| History: | On March 3rd, 2026, the Republic of Texas declared independence from the failing American government. This declaration of independence was a direct copy of the American one only with slight deviations from the wording and medium but it still outlined basic rights as life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. From that day up until March 3rd, 2028, Texas used a provisional government but on that day in 2028, the Constitution of the United Provinces of Texas was put into use. In 2045, UPT conquered their old territorial claims. By 2370 though, the cracks started to show through and when the 2372 elections came, they were very controversial. By 2373, all of the UPT descended into anarchy and the United Republics of Texas declared independence intending to restore order in the nation. |
