07/19/2016 - War Changes

Quick overview of Round 1 of War Changes on the test server. Bear with me, nothing is finalized, more will be added, and things will certainly be tweaked.

Score formula has been changed. Far more emphasis on Infrastructure now.

Military recruitment is no longer a daily thing, but a turn-based stacking system. Watch the video below for more explanation.

Air Force Bases have been renamed to Hangars.

Central Intelligence Agency has been renamed to Intelligence Agency.

Military caps are now solely based on population - military improvements increase the rate at which units can be recruited per turn, up to 1/36 of your total cap.

Military improvements are no longer capped. You can have as many Barracks, etc. as you want, but as stated above, the soft cap is that you can only recruit 1/36 of your total cap per turn.

You can now only have 3 offensive wars and 2 defensive wars. *This may be changed again. Part of testing.

Wars now last only 3 days.

Grace period between two nations having a war expire is now only 1 day.

06/07/2016 - Testing City Templates

Hey all! I'm excited to announce that I've got City Templates working! I've tested it a fair bit myself and discovered the obvious bugs; so please, now I need you to test it more rigorously and ensure that it's working properly. Things to be on the look out for are:

Being able to get free money, aluminum, or steel

Being able to go over the improvement cap

Being able to sell military improvements that are supporting units you already have

Being able to get negative improvements, or an amount of an improvement that's over the cap

Being able to buy raw resource improvements that should not be available on your continent

Being able to purchase improvements without the necessary funds

And likely other potential issues. Please test it rigorously, and shoot me a message if you find any bugs. Thank you!

To test this feature, you need to be on http://alex.politicsandwar.com NOT test.politicsandwar.com.

The login information is the same as the test server, and everything else is the same except for the addition of city template management. You will find on your city pages two small URLs near the improvements section: "Import" and "Export" respectively. The rest should be self explanatory.

03/21/2016 - Free Money & Resources

The primary objective of the test server currently is to test the war policies and make sure they're working. I've given everyone $25,000,000 and some extra resources, please use these to build up your nations and knock the snot out of each other trying out different war policies.
