11/18/2016 - War Changes |
Hey everyone! Looking for immediate testers for some significant changes to the war system. As it stands currently, the 6 Ground Attacks to win a war has been replaced by a new mechanic, called Resistance. In a war, each side starts with 100 Resistance, and attacks take resistance away from the opposing side, in varying amounts depending on the attack type and success level. Once you've taken your opponent to 0 Resistance, or less, they will immediately surrender, forfeiting 25% of their cash, 10% of each of their resources, and then you'll loot their alliance bank as well. I have also lowered Ground Battle casualties by about a third as it now takes 10 ground attacks (compared to 6 previously) to beige someone and win a war. Please test these features and leave some feedback on the forums, it's totally open to tweaking and I would like things to be thoroughly tested and bug free before going live with this update (if we decide to go live with this at all.) 08/02/2016 - Control Points |
I've added an experimental new war feature, called Control Points. Each turn your nation will generate a diminishing amount of control points, based on your existing control points and your nation score. These Control Points do nothing in your nation, but if someone defeats you in a war, they will capture all of your Control Points for their Alliance. This gives the Alliance a bonus of (Total Control Points / Alliance Score) capped at 20% to their gross income. Alliance Control Points diminish at a rate of 1% each turn. This feature should help feed the war cycle, make raiding more viable, and encourage more smaller alliances. Posted by Alex 08/02/2016 06:22 am |
07/25/2016 - War Changes Update |
Fixed a variety of war related bugs. Missiles and nukes are now on the stack system. You don't need any projects to stack these. Posted by Alex 07/25/2016 01:07 am |
