A New Caliphate

It has been one-hundred years since the dissolution of the Ottoman Caliphate in 1924. Abu-Bakr bin Safwan al-Walidi has proclaimed the title of Caliph, Protector of the Ummah. The new Caliphate attempts to mend the schism between the Sunni and Shia Sects of Islam with the creation of the title "Grand Imam".

A series of compromises will be expected while mending the schism however Shiite mysticism and Sunni Literalism could be cause for trouble in the meeting being dubbed the "Supreme Debate". Thousands of Islamic scholars will be invited to this debate and is expected to cost billions in extravagance and accommodation all may witness this debate LIVE on television or at the very place of showing the Holy City of Mecca.

Many world leaders have shown their support and submission for the Caliphate. However some are hesitant such as South Sudan and Turkey.
